You should request a new or extra container from the Household Waste Centre (HVC).

Do you want a new container for organic waste, plastic or paper? You can request a container via the HVC website or via telephone number (0800) 0700.
Would you like an extra container?
You can request an extra container for organic waste, plastic or paper via the HVC website or via telephone number (0800) 0700 free of charge.
You can ask us for an extra grey container by telephone on (0224) 210 400.
Please note: The following conditions apply if you wish to apply for an extra grey container:
- There are more than 5 members in your family.
- You have more than 2 children who wear nappies.
An extra grey mini-container costs money. How much? Please see the Waste collection charge regulation.
You can request an extra container for general waste on medical grounds. In this case, an extra grey container will be provided free of charge.
